Changes to the island’s bus service come into effect on Monday (May 1).
The changes are minor and come after reviews and feedback from passengers.
The afternoon and early evening service from Douglas to Port Erin will set off earlier (service 1, 1H, 2, 2A, 11, 12, 12A and 9). Services 9 and 1 will now serve Newlands shelter after leaving the main hospital entrance. The Sunday evening service, 1H, to and from Hailwood Avenue will be renumbered as 1.
Services 3, 3A and 3X are also affected, with changes to Sunday departure times from Ramsey, reflecting the Monday to Saturday timetable.
Service 4C between between Douglas, Higher Foxdale and Castletown will be hourly between Foxdale and Douglas once the road reopens but a revised timetable remains in operation while the road is closed.
The daytime service between Ramsey and Peel to Douglas will have altered departure times, in most cases, five minutes earlier and there will be an improvement to the Peel service giving direct buses between Peel Promenade, Peveril Road and Ballawattleworth to Douglas.
Other services affected include 8, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21.
New timetables can be viewed on www.gov.im/2017timetables
A new Journey Planner and Timetables booklet is being published and free copies will be available at the Sea Terminal and at bus and railway stations from May 8.
