Two accountancy firms are merging.

Harding Lewis and Browne Craine & Co will employ more than 60 people.

For the timebeing, they will operate from their separate premises - Harding Lewis in Hill Street, Douglas, and Browne Craine in Peel Road, Douglas.

There will be no job losses as a result of the merger.

Consultant and former shareholder at Harding Lewis, Andrew Gerrard, will spend more time on client projects and consultancy, rather than on compliance work.
