The Association of Corporate Service Providers is anticipating a high level of interest in a forthcoming seminar.

So there will be two sessions on Monday November 20 that will examine 2017 FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standards) reporting outcomes.

Sponsored by DQ Advocates the seminar - ’FATCA/CRS 2017 reporting: What went well, what didn’t go so well and why?’ - will be with the Income Tax Division’s deputy assessor Nicola Skillicorn, SMP Partners’ senior manager Claire Mulhern and Equiom Solutions’ senior tax consultant Monica Dixie.

The seminar will focus on a ’back to basics’ approach, looking at entity classifications, self-certifications, actual reporting of information, changes of circumstances and issues such as changes of trustee during a reporting period.

The seminar will be at the Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas, with registration for the first session at 11.30am for a midday prompt start and for the second at 1.15pm for a 1.30pm prompt start.

It is anticipated each session will last approximately one hour.
