The Athol Street, Douglas, branch of the Isle of Man Bank has been shut at short notice.

A notice on the door says it is being ’deep cleaned’.

The bank says it will re-open tomorrow (Friday).

While the branch in Regent Street, Douglas, is open it no longer has a counter service.

So the bank advises customers who want to use counter service to go to one of its two remaining branches - Port Erin and Ramsey.

Meanwhile, Penny, the bank’s mobile branch, is off the roads today and will be back to normal timetable from Monday.
