There has been a big drop in the number of people out of work in the Isle of Man.

The government’s official figure for August was 395 - a drop of 50 from the previous month and of 605 from August 2020.
During the month there were 1,095 job vacancies announced.
There have been many reports of there being a labour shortage in many sectors.
In the health sector there were 126 vacancies. Companies in the catering and entertainment sector were looking for 136 people.
