An employment tribunal has ruled that a builder was not constructively dismissed.

The tribunal, chaired by Peter Scott, found unanimously in NK Construction Ltd’s favour after complaint was made by former employee James Marley.

Mr Marley had worked for the firm from March 2018. On May 10 of last year, he resigned from his job, giving one week’s notice and formally leaving the company’s employment.

The tribunal ruled that ’this was just a resignation, not one brought about by actions of the respondent’s representatives’.
