A number of cafes are now selling take-away coffee and food after the initial lockdown regulations were relaxed.

Bohemian on Strand Street, Douglas, was one of the first. It opened a fortnight ago.

Now Costa is joining them.

The cafe at the Sea Terminal began serving takeaways yesterday.

Costa is run by Fancy a Coffee Ltd in the Isle of Man.

’To keep our store teams and customers safe, we’ve made a lot of changes to how we serve our coffee, introducing social distancing, enhancing our hygiene procedures and implementing a card payment only policy,’ a spokesman said.

The initial opening hours at the Sea Terminal store are 7am to 6pm and this will remain under review.

Fancy a Coffee’s four other sites - in Castletown, Strand Street, Ramsey Parliament Street and Ramsey Mooragh Park - on Thursday, June 4.
