Technology company PDMS has redesigned the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce website.

Chamber chief executive Rebecca George said: ’The new website is part of our strategy to make Chamber even more open and accessible, and to make it even easier for members to access the growing range of services and support that we offer.

’We must say a huge thank you to the PDMS team for creating such a fresh and vibrant design - it will be a great help in our drive to attract new members, and that in turn will help Chamber to do even more to support the island’s business community in the future.’

PDMS, based at Global House, Isle of Man Business Park, is Chamber’s first strategic partner.

Chris Gledhill, managing director and co-founder of PDMS, said: ’PDMS has been an active member of Chamber for many years.

’As a strategic partner, we will bring our digital innovation and transformation expertise to benefit Chamber, its members and the Isle of Man as a place to do business.

’We see the new website as a platform to continue to drive Chamber forward and for it to be a hub of information for the island’s business community.’

New features on the website include a dedicated section about Business Connex, the joint initiative between Chamber and the Department for Enterprise which was launched in 2018 with a mission to help facilitate the introduction and relocation of new business. The website also has a section where Chamber members can get discounts on products and services offered by other members - and there’s a page about free Chamber membership that is offered for entrepreneurs and start-ups. Businesses can now apply to join using an online application.
