Clothes retailer Flannels is to open a shop in Douglas next month.

It will operate from the Strand Centre, which has been bought by its parent company Sports Direct.

A press statement from the company says that it will create ’up to’ 17 jobs.

Among the brands the 4,950 square foot shop will sell are Stone Island, C.P Company, Vivienne Westwood and Polo Ralph Lauren.

The company has not given a precise date for the opening.
