Entrepreneurs are being offered the opportunity to pitch their ideas to financial backers in a Dragon’s Den-style event.

’Invest in Me’ will take place in front of a live audience.

The strength of applicants’ ideas will be examined by the potential backers and questions will be asked about business plans, ambitions, valuation and strategy.

Invest in Me will be held on Thursday, April 23, at the Noa Bakehouse in Douglas.

Those who are successful will be given advice.

There will also be the opportunity to get some presentation skills training from The Learning Curve, which provides learning and development courses and workshops in the island.

Successful applicants will be notified by email if they have been selected to take part in the Invest In Me event.
