Law firm DQ Advocates has appointed Manx advocate Kim Emery as a senior associate.

Working within the Douglas-based company’s corporate and commercial department, Emery advises on a range of matters with a particular expertise in banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions and opinions relating to cross border property transactions and is highly regarded among colleagues and clients alike.

She also has expertise in all matters relating to employment and is part of DQ’s employment team, advising on contracts of employment, staff handbooks, dismissals, redundancies and executive level settlement agreements.

Dual qualified as an human resources professional and the current chair of the Isle of Man Chartered Institute of Personal Development branch, she is a well-respected advisor in this area.
