Last month’s Liverpool festival was cancelled after a disastrous first day that saw long queues, delays and bands pulling out.
Now Hope & Glory Festivals Ltd has gone into liquidation. Insolvency firm Butcher Woods said 32 creditors were owed £888,984, including Liverpool City Council.
Mr O’Hanlon was a director of Hope & Glory Festivals Ltd from August 9 to 17 this year, when he resigned.
His TinyCow firm was booking agent for Tom Jones at Noble’s Park in 2016 and the Jacksons gig at the Villa in 2014. He has been in dispute with the DED, claiming he was being ’cheated’ out of his return on investment. The DED said it offered to resolve the matter through mediation. TinyCow initially accepted but then reversed its decision.
