Finance sector company Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has a new boss.
Its international arm’s new chief executive officer is to be Andy Finch.
Although he is based in Guernsey, he will be in charge of the branch in Athol Street, Douglas, and its counterpart in Jersey.
The company says that Mr Finch has more than 35 years’ experience in the wealth management industry.
He joined CGWM UK and Europe in 2002 and was most recently managing director of CGWM UK and Europe Funds.
Mr Finch is also a director of CGIF plc, an Irish umbrella fund and a member of the international division’s executive committee. He will continue in these roles.
Reporting to David Esfandi, chief executive of CGWM UK and Europe, Mr Finch succeeds Grahame Lovett, who will be retiring from his current role and assuming the role of executive chairman of the CGWM International division from spring 2020.
In this capacity, Mr Lovett will continue to work on strategy for CGWM business activities in Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey.
Mr Esfandi said: ’Andy brings strong leadership, thoughtful perspective and deep experience to this position. We are thankful to Grahame for his contribution to the CGWM International division and I look forward to working together with Grahame and Andy to deliver our business strategy, achieve our organic growth targets and continue to develop our thriving culture.’
