The team at Warehouse Fitness in the island is celebrating.
They have received their certificate from the National Fitness Awards, confirming its place as the second best gymnasium in the UK and Isle of Man in the women-only gym category.
Organised by Script Events in partnership with WorkOut magazine, the awards recognise excellence and achievement throughout the fitness industry including private gyms and health clubs, hotels, local councils, and personal trainers and coaches.
For the second year running Warehouse Fitness was representing the island at the awards.
Unfortunately for the Warehouse team it was also the second year running that they were pipped to the post to the number one position.
Having narrowly missed out again owners of Warehouse Fitness, Karen Hanly and Peter Halpin, are determined to come back stronger than ever and ready to prove they have what it takes to come home with the trophy next time.
Based in the heart of Douglas in Westmoreland Road, Warehouse Fitness is one of the largest gyms in the island and is exclusively open to women only.
This setting allows women of all sizes, abilities and ages to work out and get fit in a safe and supportive environment.
This fully equipped gym has top of the range equipment and a full class timetable including Spin, Clubbercise, Metafit, Tae Bo, HIIT Fit, Kettlercise, Hot Yoga, BURN and many more classes.
The gym boasts a friendly and highly motivational environment with a dedicated team of qualified instructors committed to bringing the very best in movement and exercise to ladies in the island.
Owner Karen Hanly said: ‘We aim to always keep it fresh and inspirational, our motto says it all – “Warehouse Fitness – be part of something amazing.”
‘We have several membership options to suit all women in the Isle of Man and our client base continues to grow thanks to the amazing people we work with.
‘It’s onwards and upwards for the Warehouse Fitness Team and being shortlisted again for this award is confirmation we are moving in the right direction.’
Business News has been reporting on Karen’s venture for several years.
