Douglas-based office printer and audio visual specialist Typhoon House has been awarded a prestigious 5-Star service accreditation from service partner Konica Minolta Business Solutions after only five months of working together.
The accreditation is the Japanese technology giant’s highest partner service accolade and is only awarded to a select few suppliers which meet their stringent criteria.
Director of indirect sales for Konica Minolta, Mark Lloyd, said: ’Congratulations to Typhoon House on achieving the highest service accreditation level of five stars in an amazing five month period! It demonstrates their commitment to offer the highest standards of support to Konica Minolta clients.’
Typhoon House supports and maintains the entire Konica Minolta bizhub range of products from small single-function desktop office printers to powerful and secure multi-functional devices, right up to high-level production print products.
The accreditation acknowledges that the organisation operates a state-of-the-art service management system, underpinned by robust procedures and internal controls, and that it boasts the highest qualified Konica Minolta technical support team on the Island.
In order to achieve the accreditation, the company was externally audited by Konica Minolta and they reached all of the relevant required customer service levels.
Konica Minolta head of support services Vince Burford said: ’By achieving all of the requirements within the programme it clearly demonstrates that all of our products will be serviced and supported to a very high level by the management and service engineers at Typhoon House. Huge congratulations to the team for all of their efforts in gaining this status.’
Typhoon House client technical support manager Tim Shaw said the accreditation was incredibly challenging and would not have been possible without the cooperation and hard work of the entire staff at Typhoon House: "Everyone can hold their heads up high knowing that the excellent standard of service delivery we provide to our clients has been recognised by one of the world’s leading companies in our industry."
Typhoon House also gained ISO:270001 certification last year, an information security standard which requires continuous improvement of the information security management system within the organisation. In order to maintain both accreditations, Typhoon House will be audited on an ongoing basis ensuring they continue to provide the highest level of service to both current and future clients.
