The Isle of Man’s inflation rate has shot up.
The figure, measured by the consumer prices index, for September was 5% - up 1.9% from the month before.
One of the big changes has been in the petrol and oil category, where the rise was 17.1%
In a separate category, oil and other fuels the rise was 46.1% in the last 12 months.
Air travel soared by 68% - but the figure is likely to have been warped because of Covid restrictions last year.
In comparison, sea travel rose by only 1%.
The inflation figure is the highest for almost 10 years.
