The group says cash flow conversion remains strong, continuing to support the dividend policy.
During the period, the Group maintained its global market leading share of 38% with a particularly strong performance in North America.
The American market is something Strix boss Mark Bartlett has had his sights set on for some time.
In the UK alone it is estimated seven out of 10 kettles are fitted with Strix safety controls.
But chief executive officer Mr Bartlett has previously told Business News they will not be resting on their laurels.

Aqua Optima experienced a strong performance with market share in the key UK market achieving 20%, a record level, due to increased coverage in the UK retail sector and additional distribution in Central Europe.
The Group continued to defend its intellectual property rights and successfully settled an infringement claim in China for 19 electronic appliances and had five webpages taken down on Amazon across their European platform for products that infringed electronic kettle patent.
Strix is based at Forrest House, Ronaldsway, Ballasalla and the operation includes a manufacturing facility in Ramsey.
