Law firm Quinn Legal has appointed Kerry Smith as head of regulation and compliance.
The business says it is further reflection of its ’progressive approach and focus on delivering the highest level of professionalism to clients.’
Kerry comes from the financial sector, having spent almost 20 years working within the regulatory compliance arena. She was with the Financial Services Authority and two fiduciary services companies, and has an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience covering risk management, corporate governance and project management.
Such experience has given her an invaluable insight into compliance, regulation and corporate governance, areas that she will continue to focus on at Quinn Legal.
Kerry also has experience as a qualified company secretary and has been responsible for leading projects on tax compliance and reporting, risk management, and delivering compliance focused services and ’solutions’.
Kerry will also take on the added responsibilities as the money laundering reporting officer [MLRO] and data protection officer for the business based in Ridgeway Street,Douglas.
