Bitcoin exchange business boss Danny Scott will be talking about his work at an event in the island next week.
Mr Scott is the chief executive and co-founder of Coin Corner.
The event is due to be held at Noa Market Hall, on North Quay, Douglas, next Tuesday (November 17) from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Mr Scott, a software developer turned entrepreneur, started his career in 2011/12 at an internet startup that looked to use the cryptocurrency as a competitive advantage. CoinCorner was founded in 2014 with the aim of making bitcoin easy and accessible to customers and now, six years on, CoinCorner is one of the leading Bitcoin exchanges in the British Isles.
Alex Wilson and Katie Nicholson, co-directors of Startup Grind Isle of Man and co-founders of Founded, said it was exciting to ‘reconnect with people in-person’.
It is their first in-person event since pre-Covid-19.
Meeting Risk with Resilience: in conversation with Danny Scott is hosted by Startup Grind Isle of Man with tickets available via startupgrind.com
