Nasaleze International Ltd has announced it has signed a lucrative contract with Sun Pharma Laboratories of India.
Sun Pharma will distribute the Nasaleze product through its 900-strong respiratory sales force in India.
Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd is the number one pharmaceutical company in India employing more than 9,500 employees and is one of the world’s largest generic pharma companies.
Nasaleze International Ltd is an Isle of Man based manufacturer of its ‘unique’ nasal dry powder products for allergy and cold prevention distributing its products worldwide to world leading pharma companies such as Boots.
There are two sides to the business.
The manufacturing arm moved around two years ago from Ramsey to Ballafletcher Business Park, to expand production to deal with the increased demands for its products around the world.
And the marketing side of the business is based at Nunnery Mills, Old Castletown Road, Douglas.
The contract was signed in Mumbai, India at a meeting attended by chief executive of Sun Pharma Ltd, Kal Sundaram and the managing director of Nasaleze International Ltd, Paul Duxbury.
Mr Duxbury said the business is a global success story in the island and the securing of the Indian contract was good news.
