Professional service adviser Wilton has appointed a new head of corporate finance.
Paul Osbourn will be responsible for projects across Wilton, including the completion of the acquisition and integration into Wilton of the IOMA companies announced in December (subject to regulatory approval).
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, he was formerly chief financial officer for an Isle of Man-based, Johannesburg-listed real estate investment group, having previously been a London-based partner of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and chief executive of Deloitte’s corporate finance business in Bahrain.
He said: ‘Wilton prides itself on its professionalism, integrity and on its absolute commitment to exceptional client service.
‘I’m delighted to join Wilton’s team at such an exciting point in its development and look forward to making a contribution to delivering Wilton’s ambitious growth plans.’
As well as in the Isle of Man, Wilton has bases in London, Dublin, Bristol and Dubai.
Managing partner Tony Flanagan said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Paul to the team.
‘His considerable skill, technical knowledge and management experience will allow us to further develop and deliver both our internal group mergers and acquisitions function and our market-facing corporate finance and financial advisory business.’
Wilton offers a wide range of financial services including wealth management, tax solutions, accountancy, corporate finance, multi-family office and pensions, in addition to other specialist services.
