The folk at CoinCorner are hoping outspoken critics of cryptocurrency will finally put a sock in it.
They have stepped forward with what they believe to be a ’fun and friendly’ way of explaining the mysteries of bitcoin to people.
Danny Scott, chief executive and co-founder of CoinCorner, told Business News: ’It’s always been CoinCorner’s mission to make bitcoin easy. ’MtSocks is a new approach to this which we hope will help to educate people about different parts of bitcoin’s history, as well as showing them that bitcoin can be used for everyday purchases.
’Our bitcoin socks are available for purchase and we hope to share our enthusiasm for bitcoin as the future of payments with as many people as possible.’
Spokesman Joanne Goldy described the socks as an educational tool for both beginners to bitcoin and those with an existing interest in the cryptocurrency industry.
’MtSocks aims to encourage people to learn about bitcoin, its history and special features in a fun and friendly way.
’With new designs each month, every pair of socks represents key events and happenings that have shaped the history of bitcoin. Every pair of socks comes with an information card which shares the history of the sock design.’
She said the socks were the brainchild of the team at CoinCorner.
The socks are available through a website launched by CoinCorner called MtSocks.com
