A top-level event next month will debate immigration.
The panel will discuss this motion: ‘This house believes that due to the island’s rapidly ageing population and historically low rate of unemployment, all restrictions on immigration and employment should immediately be lifted.’
The event will feature Bill Shimmins MHK, Rob Callister MHK and Chris Allen, president of the Chamber of Commerce and managing director of Triumph.
ILS World chief executive officer Chris Eaton will chair this year’s debate.
The event is being organised by the Isle of Man Business Network (IOMBN) in collaboration with ILS World.
It will be the bi-annual IOMBN & ILS World panel debate.
This topical evening will be held at The Palace Hotel and Casino on Wednesday, September 12.
Registration and buffet will be available from 5.30pm,with the debate beginning at 6.30pm. The expected finish is 7.30pm
