We are so thrilled to be back in the holiday business.

That’s the message from Tony Lawrence as he embarks on a new holiday business in the island.

Mr Lawrence, 52, his wife Tracy, 47, and colleague, Chrissie Nightingale , 37, are the team behind Vannin Travel, based on the ground floor of Tower House, Douglas.

By all accounts it’s been a ‘tough year’ for the travel team who previously worked for Regency Travel which closed last year for reasons beyond their control.

Ten people worked for the agency at the corner of Regency Street and Duke Street, Douglas but Tony was pleased to report they had all since found new employment since the plug was pulled on the Regency Travel business.

Mr Lawrence said the new venture, which is up and running, will be offering a wide variety of holidays for island folk looking to get away to warmer climes!

Tony and Tracy along with Chrissie Nightingale have more than 70 years’ experience between them in the travel trade.

They will be offering all types of ‘exclusive’ holidays including trips departing directly from the Isle of Man, Tailor Made packages, luxury getaways, honeymoons, cruises and many more.

Tony said: ‘We are so thrilled to be back in business and able to assist customers old and new with their holiday requirements.

‘It’s what myself, Tracy and Chrissie love to do.’

As previous multi-award winning agents, the team say they are passionate about delivering the highest quality of service to customers and aim to provide comfort when booking with them.

Tony added: ‘We’ve been serving customers in the Isle of Man for longer than 30 years collectively and can’t wait to continue being able to do so.

‘The three of us have worked together for 12 years so it feels more like a family than colleagues, which we want to portray to our customers when booking with us.’

The team say their globetrotting adventures have given them first hand experience.

Tony stressed customer satisfaction will be at the forefront of what they do.
