Simcocks has announced that three of the Douglas law firm’s directors have been entered into the Legal 500 Hall of Fame UK.
Chief executive Phil Games, Irini Newby and David Spencer have achieved this status ’as a result of consistently being praised for the last eight out of 10 consecutive years, for exceptional legal talent.’
The commendation originated from feedback given by Simcocks’ clients.
The Legal 500 researches the legal world in than 100 jurisdictions and assesses the strengths of law firms across the globe.
Phil Games is one of the most prominent private client lawyers on the Isle of Man, and works with other professionals to create bespoke offshore and multi-jurisdictional structures such as Isle of Man trusts, foundations and companies.
Irini Newby heads up the corporate and commercial, commercial property and employment departments at Simcocks, and has been named as a leader in her field by independent directory, Chambers UK.
David Spencer’s experience encompasses general corporate, banking and finance, insurance and shipping, and he has been described by the Legal 500 as ’one of the most experienced insurance lawyers on the Isle of Man’.
