Two tickets to a meal at a business event are the prize in a competition launched this week.

The winners will be driven by a chauffeur to a three-course dinner - the ISLEXPO Founders’ Feast at the Villa Marina - where they will be entertained by comedian David Schneider.

Then they will stay at the Regency Hotel in Douglas.

The Jacksons car dealership and The Regency Hotel are behind the competition.

The competition is open on the ISLEXPO Facebook page, @ISLEXPO, and runs until midnight on Sunday, May 13, with the winner announced on Monday, May 14.

Minister for Enterprise Laurence Skelly MHK said: ’The Founders’ Feast is an opportunity for the island’s business community, entrepreneurs and investors to come together and enjoy a night of networking, delicious local food and drink, and entertainment.

’ISLEXPO 2018 is focused around the theme of "locate" and the importance of a location for a successful business and positive lifestyle. The conference will look at how we can make sure the island is ready for new opportunities and that our businesses have the right people to succeed.’

Jacksons boss Paul Collier said the theme of this year’s event, ’locate’, was a major reason behind the Cooil Road car dealer’s decision to sponsor the Founders’ Feast.

He added: ’We are looking forward to sharing in the entrepeneurial synergy of all those in attendance at the ISLEXPO Founders’ Feast and conference.’

On May 16, a free-to-attend all-day business event, including local and global speakers, expert panels and entrepreneurs is to be held at the Villa Marina in Douglas.
