Police have reported traffic flow through Laxey village is now back to normal after disruption yesterday. This was caused by damage to the electric railway cables by a high vehicle on New Road at the tram crossing on Friday afternoon.

A plea has also been made for drivers to take care over the weekend with the Ramsey and Bride area triathlon and the second day of the Manx Rally taking place. Traffic is busy and there are some road closures.
