There is a a change of day for the next beach cleaning session for Beach Buddies, with the event switching to a Saturday at Langness this weekend, as the clean-up of sensitive areas for bird nesting continues.

The volunteer session will start at 10.30am on Saturday, February 25.

This gives an opportunity for new volunteers to attend, as Beach Buddies frequently finds that many people are tied up with other events on Sundays.

Beach Buddies provides all equipment and disposes of the materials collected, recycling many items such as plastics, tin cans, metal and glass bottles. There is no need to register - just go along and join in.
