A survey into the income of residents of the Crown Dependencies shows that fewer Manx residents have reported a drop in their income.
Island Global Research is carrying out regular surveys into how the Covid-19 pandemic is affecting residents of the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.
Over the past four weeks, IGR has been conducting research to understand the financial impact that Covid-19 is having on household incomes.
It has reported that while 37% of Manx residents say they have experienced at least some reduction in their household income, this is lower than Jersey (43%) and Guernsey (42%).
The figures show that while more residents of the Channel Islands said they had seen this reduction each week, Manx households had experienced peaks and troughs in their income.
Those most likely to have experienced a loss of household income are those under the age of 65, households with at least one child under the age of 16 or those with a mortgage or living in private rental.
The workers most at risk are the self-employed, people not working or having been furloughed or those in part-time employment.
The survey was completed by 1,728 residents, (722 Guernsey, 606 Jersey, and 400 Isle of Man).
