The sounds of the sixties will be recreated next week at a fund raising concert for a local charity.

’A Hard Day’s Night’ will see a host of Manx musicians, choirs, bands and performers appear at the Villa Marina on Wednesday, July 17, for an evening of Beatles songs.

Among those appearing are Alexandra Slater, the Ballacottier School Choir, Dandi Dancox, Shay Marsden, Mike Corkhill and Victoria McLauchlan and the island’s own Beatles tribute band the Manxical Mystery Tour, along with dancers from Gena’s Dance Academy and the Move It dance school, amongst many others.

All funds raised will benefit Manx Cancer Help and Isle Listen, a new initiative for children and young people’s mental health, developed by the professional therapeutic team at MCH.
