Children were entertained in the ‘Police Treat’ yesterday.

The force has resurrected an annual tradition of showing films to youngsters.

Yesterday year six (aged 10 and 11) pupils went to Ballakermeen High School’s theatre to see a film and a pantomime acted by Ballakermeen pupils.

Each child had a chat with the local police and was given a goodie bag.

In the past, the police hired out cinemas and invited children to enjoy an afternoon of films and gave them selection boxes.
