More than 30 young students from a school in China will perform Twelfth Night as part of their cultural visit to the island.

The Haibei Chinese-English Primary School pupils, who are aged 10 and 12, have spent days rehearsing the Shakespearean play Twelfth Night at King William’s College.

The show takes place tonight in the Kings Court Theatre on the college grounds at 7pm and is free to enter. Drinks will be given on arrival.

Travelling across the world, the students have enjoyed a number of activities here as part of the new summer programme. The aim of the programme is for students to experience the western culture as well as understand what education is like in the Isle of Man.

Find out more about their stay in the Manx Independent, which comes out on Thursday (August 1).
