Christmas and local crafts will be celebrated at the Manx Museum this Sunday.

There will be a festive sale of locally-produced goods, arts and craft at the museum shop, with selected items marked 10% off face value.

There will also be music and dance from the local traditional folk group Perree Bane, who will be performing a series of Christmas dances in the museum lecture theatre from 2pm.

The team of authors behind the book ’Living With The Sea’, which looks at the history of Port St Mary, will also be delivering a talk at 2.30pm, and there will also be a range of festive crafts available for younger history buffs to take part in around the museum, together with the museum’s traditional golden Christmas tree, on display in the art gallery.

The museum is free to enter, and the activities get under way from 10am until 5pm.
