The Davidson family are putting their Christmas lights display to use for a good cause, by raising money for the RNLI.
A donation box has been set up in the front garden of their house in Ballabroorie Way in Douglas, as well as another box from which people can take homemade crocheted decorations or ’reindeer food’ for children.
In the box there is also a competition which children can enter to win small prizes.
John Davidson explained that it was originally the idea of his grandson David Livsey, now 13, to use their lights to raise money for the Douglas RNLI - and they have been doing so for six years.
Last year they raised around £300.
