Classic TT schedule: Sunday, August 23

The racing action continues on the Mountain Course today (Sunday) after organisers were forced to rejig the Classic TT programme because of forecast bad weather.

Two races will now take place this afternoon on what should have been a rest day.

The contingency session has been pressed into use as part of a major rejig of the schedule that has seen races scheduled for Wednesday and Friday next week brought forward to the next couple of days.

Roads close around the Mountain Course at 12.45pm, with the three-lap Formula One Classic TT following at 1.30pm.

The afternoon’s action will conclude with the combined Lightweight and Ultra-Lightweight contest at 3.30pm. Again this is over three laps.
