Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT organisers have confirmed that Thursday afternoon’s contingency session will be used.
Wednesday evening’s session was cancelled because of forecast heavy showers, and with disruption to other qualifying earlier in the week, organisers have made the decision to use the additional session.
Roads will close at 12.30pm with the Classic TT’s Lightweight and Ultra-Lightweight machines first on the course at 1.15pm alongside the Manx Grand Prix’s Junior and Sportbike classes.
Formula One, Junior 600 and Senior MGP and Supersport competitors will be next out at 2.10pm, with the Historic Senior and Junior bikes rounding out the session at 3.05pm.
Roads will then open at approximately 4.30pm, before closing again at 6pm for the what was the planned evening session.
Again there will be qualifying for both Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT bikes, with the Formula One, Junior 600, Senior and Supersport MGP competitors first on track at 6.30pm.
Roads are due to re-open no later than 9pm.
The all-important forecast predicts showers will continue at first tomorrow morning, then clear later in the morning with sunny spells developing.
