Strong winds will cause coastal overtopping at high tides today.

The Met Office forecast for Friday: ‘Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, especially late morning and early afternoon.

‘Strong to near gale force southwesterly wind leading to coastal overtopping around the time of high tide at 12 noon and again around midnight tonight.

‘Maximum temperature 17°C.’
