Race fans are in for a treat this afternoon (Sunday) as the first race of the TT Festival gets under way.
The six-lap Superbike event is due to start at 2pm.
That will be followed by one-lap practice sessions for both the sidecars and TT Zero machines.
Meanwhile, the trustees of the Joey Dunlop Foundation decided to postpone today’s (Sunday) official opening of new apartments and open day at Braddan House until the Festival of Motorcycling when Gary Dunlop along with William and Michael Dunlop will be available to officially open the new facilities.
But the planned celebration party at Klaus Klaffenbock’s corporate unit
will still take place starting at 5.30 pm instead of 5 pm.
