A ceremony has taken place at Government House which saw a new Deemster and six new magistrates sworn in to office.
Deemster Graeme Cook replaces Deemster Alastair Montgomerie following his retirement from full time work in December.
Deemster Cook was sworn in by First Deemster Andrew Corlett.
Also sworn in were six new magistrates or justices of the peace (JP).
The new JPs are Dean Bexon-Ingham, Mathew Birks, Jane Foster, Andrea Tabb, Pamela Teare and Anthony Wood.
They were chosen through open recruitment, which began in May 2019.
Having been sworn in by Second Deemster John Needham and after completing their initial training, they will all now be able take up their duties on the bench.
Those in attendance at the ceremony included former First Deemster William Cain.
