Karl Allen Cameron, aged 33, of Cronk y Berry, Douglas, will face a trial on March 3.
He has previously pleaded not guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm, theft, and property damage.
The offences are alleged to have been committed on November 17.
A trial was due to be held yesterday (Monday) but magistrates sitting on Thursday heard that a police officer who is required to give evidence was unavailable on that day.
Mr Cameron was represented in court by advocate Paul Rodgers.
Bail was refused by magistrates and he is remanded in custody.
