A 40-year-old man has admitted threatening behaviour at Noble’s Hospital.

John Anthony Williams, of Cullyn Avenue, Anagh Coar, also admitted common assault on a woman at a Douglas address, and will be sentenced on June 2, after a probation report has been prepared.

The offences were committed on December 23.

Williams has also previously admitted three other offences, of common assault, threatening behaviour, and resisting arrest, committed on March 20 and 31.

Defence advocate Jane Gray said her client was already due to be sentenced on June 2 for the previously admitted matters, and asked for all offences to be dealt with on the same date.

Bail continues with conditions to reside at his home address and not to contact witnesses.
