Leroy Stephen McHarrie, aged 22, of Mona Drive, Douglas, has pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer.

A third charge, of property damage, was withdrawn in light of the guilty pleas.

Defence advocate Jim Travers said that his client had other matters which were being dealt with on February 17, and would likely involve not guilty pleas being changed.

Mr Travers asked that all matters be adjourned until that date.

No application for bail was made.
