Dean Anthony Whitehead, aged 35, of Heather Crescent, Pulrose, Douglas, has had his sentencing postponed.

He has previously pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a police officer.

Sentencing was due to take place on yesterday (Tuesday) but has now been adjourned until February 14 while he attends a rehabilitation course in the UK.

He was represented in court by advocate Louise Cooil.

Bail continues.
