Corwyn Cannan, aged 19, of Railway Terrace, Douglas, has appeared before the High Bailiff charged with causing serious bodily harm by careless driving.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on July 20 in East Foxdale Road.
He was represented in court by advocate Jim Travers who asked for an adjournment until February 28 to allow time to review the case papers.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
