Tobias Andrew McKee, aged 18, of School Road, Onchan, has appeared before magistrates charged with two counts of arson.
He is also charged with attempting to destroy property by fire.
He was represented in court by advocate Sara-Jayne Dodge who asked for an adjournment until December 22 while legal aid is finalised.
Bail continues.
