Roses, gladioli, pot plants and spuds competed for the best in show accolade at the Onchan Horticultural Society’s annual show.
Ian Watterson walked away with the top prize, the Orry & Betty Teare Memorial Rose Bowl, for his spectacular displays of vegetables, onions and potatoes.
The event was held at Elim Family Centre with organisers saying it was a fantastic show. Jennifer Corrin said: ’Thank you to everyone who entered, those who came to admire all the hard work, have a coffee and a delicious piece of cake and all of the committee and volunteers.
’It was a brilliant day with fabulous entries. Looking forward to next year already!’
