A musical tribute from the Crosby and District Silver Band accompanied the opening recently of the new Hospice Shop in Peel.

The band is no stranger to Peel, oftening appearing at Christmas with seasonal music and playing for the lighting of the Christmas tree.

The band frequently appears around the island, at concerts, church services and other events, in addition to events in Marown.

The band dates back well over 100 years, and on Wednesday, March 8, the band holds its AGM.

The meeting in the Millennium Hall, Crosby, is open to all, from 7.30pm.
