Company bosses from property firm Dandara will face questions from residents about a proposed development in Peel next week.
The consultation will take place on Monday, September 30, at Peel town hall from 3pm to 8pm, will show details of the plans for the proposed development.
The site lies off Glenfaba Road on the southern side of Peel.
It will include a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.
Dandara managing director Seamus Nugent said: ’Our proposal addresses the demand for new homes in the west, delivering 47 quality homes in a desirable residential environment, encompassing a large open space with children’s play area and fabulous views towards Patrick and Slieau Whallian.
’This consultation will provide us with an opportunity to share with the public our proposals to create quality homes that fulfil the needs of island residents who wish to live in Peel and, more importantly, gather their thoughts and feedback which will be taken into consideration as we develop our proposals.’
Dandara housing director Ciaran Downey and planning director David Humphrey will attend the consultation to answer any questions. Following the consultation, Dandara says it will continue to refine the design and once completed, a planning application will be submitted.
It is hoped the first phase of homes at the new Peel housing development will be available for purchase early next year.
