A minke whale washed up at Fishers Hill near Castletown has now been moved.

The decomposing animal attracted a number of spectators.

The Manx Wildlife Trust's marine officer was called out when the stranded juvenile minke whale was spotted last night.

The MWT says that the autopsy suggests some internal damage to the intestines but the cause of the trauma could not be identified.
