The crowds turned out in Ramsey to see the death-defying, daredevil riders of the Purple Helmets make their first appearance of 2020.

The stunt team performed to hundreds of people in Market Square, Ramsey, including the Lt Governor, and the crowds cheered to see the antics of the riders including the piano man, the rollover bike and the famous wheelie bin races.

Health and safety officials will be relieved to see that many of the riders were wearing protective facemasks.
